The Yukon Heritage Training Fund is designed to fund limited-term training which will advance and enhance Yukon independent heritage workers, groups, and collectives of workers capacity to obtain and create employment and provide prospective employers with a better trained heritage labor force.
- The priorities of the fund are to increase the number of people with necessary skills for heritage work; to retain independent heritage workers by providing them with funding assistance to access training opportunities.
- To provide human resources for the professional development of Yukon's heritage resources.
