The Waste Reduction and Recycling Support (WRARS) Fund supports sustainable waste management efforts and prevention practices in the north and throughout Manitoba.
- The fund supports projects that demonstrate innovative approaches or practices to reduce or prevent waste, showcase initiatives that are transferrable to other communities or regions and build capacity for solid waste diversion in Manitoba. Applicants should be guided and informed by the vision and commitments contained in the Made in Manitoba Climate and Green Plan.
