Tula Foundation provides funds to several qualified donees during the year. Programs supported by the Tula Foundation include Health and Equity, Healthy Habitats, Basic Research, Media Diversity and local initiatives in British Comlumbia in Health and Social Development, Community Health and Arts and Culture. Tula`s agent, Tula Salud, provides community health services in Guatemala.
- The areas of research include archeology, terrestrial ecology, marine ecology, atmosphere and earth sciences. The activities are often undertaken in conjunction with various university teams. The facilities on the Hakai site also include laboratories for microscopy, chemistry, marine, archaeological as well as weather stations and computer facilities.
