The Harold Crabtree Foundation was founded by Harold Crabtree in 1951 in Montreal, Quebec to support a range of charitable purposes. His particular interests were education and health and these areas have continued to be the focus of the foundation since its inception. The foundation thanks the Government of Ontario which helped create this fund through its generous matching contributions.
