The Canada-Ontario Transported Feed AgriRecovery Initiative
The federal and provincial governments have announced another initiative to help livestock farmers in parts of northwestern Ontario.
Livestock farmers in the Rainy River, Kenora and Thunder Bay districts can now apply for financial support through the Canada-Ontario Transported Feed AgriRecovery Initiative. This initiative will help cover extraordinary costs incurred to source feed or transport livestock to feed due to drought conditions.
Applications will be accepted through November 1, 2021.
