The Institut de tourisme et d'hôtellerie du Québec (ITHQ) offers a free training and support program for restaurateurs and hoteliers in Quebec to help them integrate new technologies into their environment of work, in order to make their activities more productive.
This training is offered in two modules. You can register for a single module or for both, and at the end of each module, a certification is awarded by the ITHQ.
Objectives
Thanks to training module 1 , restaurateurs as well as hoteliers will be able to:
- Target solutions to improve operations and profitability;
- Acquire essential skills on best practices aimed at maximizing revenue and profitability, minimizing expenses, managing inventories, determining selling prices, handling comments and complaints;
- Become familiar with the best digital technologies and existing tools in Quebec in this area;
- Identify sales techniques allowing a quick source of income and increasing the average invoice;
- Indicate how to establish new standards and procedures as well as systems to ensure compliance with them;
- Become familiar with CNESST standards and labor standards.
