Support program for daycare projects during school break and summer

The program is intended for non-profit legal persons whose head office is located in Quebec and which are legally constituted under the Companies Act, part III, or under the Canadian Act respecting non-profit organizations. These must have started their activities for at least two years. Municipalities and regional county municipalities (MRCs), band councils, the Kativik Regional Government, the Cree Nation Government and other Aboriginal organizations can benefit from the program.

Improving the childcare offer involves adding hours, days and weeks to the existing childcare offer or increasing the reception capacity (number of children or addition of groups). It can also be a new childcare project. These projects should target school-aged children from 4 to 12 years old, except in the case of children with disabilities, who may be up to 21 years old. Applicants must submit their project by October 22. The program aims to support new projects or improve the existing daycare offer for school-aged children, during the school break and the summer period of 2022.
