Science and Operational Applications Research - Canadian Provinces and Territories (SOAR-CPT) is a Government of Canada initiative supported by the Canadian Space Agency (CSA) for Canadian provincial and territorial organizations to support scientists in the development of RADARSAT-2 applications and to promote the use of synthetic aperture radar (SAR) remote sensing. The initiative requests proposals aiming to sustain and improve current applications that use SAR sensors, develop new applications and also applied research in the context of a specific need.
