Wildlife in Quebec is animated and supported largely by the work of passionate volunteers. The latter do not count the time invested in sharing and transmitting their passion. Their dedication helps to perpetuate hunting, fishing and trapping activities. In addition, a large network of individuals, organizations, businesses, educational and research establishments support the Department in achieving its mission of wildlife conservation, management and development. . Their work is essential and must be highlighted. By awarding the Snowy Owl awards, the Minister of the Environment, the Fight Against Climate Change, Wildlife and Parks officially recognizes the involvement of these individuals and organizations.
