The program In French, naturally! is a measure of the 2021-2024 youth action plan I am Quebec, Quebec is us contributing to the implementation of the 2030 Quebec Youth Policy.
The Program supports, on the one hand, the effort and commitment of community stakeholders to promote the use of a quality French language among young people in all areas of public life in Quebec.
On the other hand, it supports projects that promote the use of the French language among young people in all spheres of life, particularly at work and in the consumption of goods and services, through the support of projects that promote a positive image of the use of the French language in the public sphere and which arouse the interest and pride of young Quebecers with regard to the common language.
The Program aims to reach all young people, francophone, anglophone or allophone, between 15 and 29 years old, from anywhere in Quebec.
The specific objectives of the Program are:
- raise awareness among young people aged 15 to 29, as citizens, workers and consumers, of the importance of using French in all spheres of life;
- to encourage young people to use a quality French language, to show their pride in it;
- to encourage eligible organizations to consider the youth public in their initiatives and to promote collaboration between organizations.
