Regions and Rurality Fund (FRR). Component 2 - Support for local and regional development competence in RCMs

Description

This component aims to support, in addition to other government programs, in their fields of jurisdiction, any local and regional development effort in the RCMs.

In accordance with the management agreement concluded with the government, the measures to which the RCMs can allocate the sums received under this component may notably relate to the following objects: carrying out their mandates with regard to planning and development; support for local municipalities in professional expertise or to establish shared services (social, cultural, tourist, environmental, technological or other); promotion of entrepreneurship, support for entrepreneurship and business; mobilizing communities and supporting the implementation of structuring projects to improve living environments, particularly in the social, cultural, economic or environmental fields; establishing, funding and implementing sectoral development agreements with government departments or agencies and, where appropriate, other partners;
