Founded in 1943, the McKesson Foundation is committed to helping people in the communities where our employees live and work. It is dedicated to supporting our employees' community involvement efforts and improving the health of patients through improved healthcare quality, personal health management, and lower healthcare costs.
- Keeping with our philosophy of Empowering Healthcare at McKesson Canada we also believe that it is our responsibility to help the most vulnerable and at-risk members of the communities in which we operate. Each year, the McKesson Foundation's Regional Grants Program makes it possible for many Canadian non-profit charities to improve the status of children and youth in the areas of health and education.
