The Regional Action Support Program (PAAR), with an annual budget of $ 10 million, aims to support projects that promote the vitality of communities, the attraction and influence of the Capital Region.

Update 3/31/2022 | Changes to the rules and procedures application of the Support Program for Regional Actions (PAAR) which will come into force on 1 April  . This new framework allows the program to better meet the needs of its clientele and to stimulate initiatives on the regional territory in times of recovery.

The main changes  affect in particular eligible organizations and the accumulation of government assistance.

In fact, for-profit organizations whose initiatives are of a tourism or event nature will now be eligible for the PAAR. The new measures improve the accumulation of government assistance granted to projects carried out in Québec and Lévis, as well as those from Aboriginal organizations. The analysis criteria have been reviewed in order to favor proposals that are in line with sustainable development.

  • The program is structured around three axes: support cultural, tourism and sports events; energize territories while promoting the vitality of communities in a perspective of sustainable development; target the specific issues of the Capitale-Nationale region and respond to them.
