Description The Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere (RIDE) Grant provides funding to police services to enhance local enforcement capabilities and to ensure a year-round provincial program to conduct RIDE spot check activities. The 2022-2023 to 2023-2024 RIDE Grant assists police services/boards in offsetting their staff costs for implementing RIDE programs of sobriety checks in their jurisdictions. Eligible police services/boards must formally request funding through Transfer Payment Ontario (TPON).
