The Private Sector Support Program for the Deployment of Public Fast Charging Stations offers financial assistance to private companies for projects to purchase and install public direct current charging stations (DCFC).

Call for businesses

Presented in the form of calls for projects, the program launched on July 22, 2022 will end on March 31, 2025 or when the budget envelope of $50 million is fully committed.

The first call for projects is underway .

Goals

  • Achieve the target set by the Quebec government of 1.6 million EVs registered in 2030
  • Facilitate and accelerate the introduction of electric vehicles in Quebec
  • Reducing greenhouse gas emissions in the transport sector
  • Increase accessibility to charging by increasing the number of public DC fast charging stations
