The Ontario Exploration Corporation (OEC) has been established to invest in Mining Lands with high economic potential. The financial assistance is given in exchange for a Royalty in the Mining Lands. *Although the Prospectors Assistance program is administered by the Ontario Exploration Corporation and not the Government of Ontario, The Funding Portal has opted to include the fund in its database in order to provide a complete picture of funding options available to the mining sector.*
- The aim of OEC is to build equity from the mineral prospect in the form of royalties.
