The objective of the program is to facilitate the transition of surplus heritage places of worship to new uses in line with the needs of the communities, while promoting the conservation and enhancement of their heritage characteristics.
Part 2 – Requalification of heritage places of worship
The objective of this component is to grant financial assistance for carrying out restoration work and bringing surplus heritage places of worship up to standard in order to facilitate their transition to new uses, while promoting the conservation and enhancement of their heritage characteristics.
