The organic biomethanization and composting treatment program (PTMOBC) provides financial support to the municipal and private sectors for the installation of infrastructure to treat organic matter using these two processes.
- Its main objective is to reduce the amount of organic matter destined for disposal in order to promote the environmental objectives set out in the Québec Residual Materials Management Policy.
- The program also reduces Quebec's GHG emissions in order to contribute to Quebec's climate change objectives.
