This program provides funding to non-profit organizations wanting to undertake a tourism development initiative.
- To support niche product development projects, such as scenic drives development, Aboriginal tourism and festivals and events with a focus on sustainability and tourist engagement.
- To support research and development projects, such as development of standards and best practices for Yukon tourism products and services as well as research into new or existing tourism trends. Market research to identify tourism development opportunities.
- To support tourism workshops and presentations projects, such as development and/or delivery of tourism workshops which build capacity in the tourism industry and presentations by tourism experts which inspire industry development and create awareness of tourism opportunities and trends.
