The Northern BC Coaching and Officiating Development Fund is a localized initiative, supported in part by the Northern Sport Strategy, created to provide support for coaching and officiating development leading up to the 2015 Canada Winter Games and beyond.
- The Northern BC Coaching and Officiating Development Fund provides funding to individuals or sport organizations to reduce the cost of enhanced training opportunities and / or certification courses. Eligible applicants are invited to either host or attend a National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) course, an Officials certification course or other mentoring or training development opportunities that will increase the knowledge of those who commit many hours to sport development in northern BC communities.
