Technology companies that are prepared to provide a cost-effective, self-configuring, high-resilience, high performance solution extending broadband services distances of 10 - 15 km from a broadband POP in a rural Ontario community for a highly innovative middle-km residential broadband solution across flat expanses of farmland with very limited numbers of trees.
Through this call for a “Technology Expression of Interest (EOI)” process, CENGN is looking for a number of candidate technology applicants who can work with a selected rural Ontario community, to propose a technology solution that will provide a lower cost, and high-performance design. The technology solution required for this EOI will need to provide a lower-cost, innovative, and high-performance solution that will meet or exceed the capacity to provide 50 Mbps download, and 10 Mbps upload, performance per residence from an existing broadband internet POP in the community to homes/residences 10-15 km away.
