The Student Summer Employment Program – Post‐secondary (SSEP‐PS) provides funding to assist private sector businesses and not‐for‐profit organizations create summer employment for post‐ secondary students.
Through this program, students benefit by gaining valuable work experience that will facilitate future labour market participation. Post‐secondary students hired under this program must be entering or returning to post‐secondary training within the next year and must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
