Description
The NGO Stabilization Fund is an application based grant program that provides short term support to NGOs who deliver critical GNWT funded programs and services to NWT residents. Eligible one-time costs include general management, governance, organizational development, and extraordinary operations costs. Collaborative projects that build the capacity of more than one NGO are encouraged.- Recognizing that many NGOs deliver essential services that support GNWT policy objectives, the NGO Stabilization Fund was established in 2009 to help stabilize or develop the capacity of crucial NGOs who deliver critical GNWT funded programs or services to NWT residents such as organizations dealing with homelessness, addictions services, shelters for women and families etc.
