The AI Fund features a suite of programs designed to accelerate AI applied research capacity in New Brunswick and will focus on building a strong AI talent pool, engaging industry and supporting technology adoption of AI by companies.
NBIF is excited to announce a suite of programs to accelerated Artificial Intelligence (“AI”) applied research in New Brunswick, with the goal of Providing access to AI expertise, talent, and research for Atlantic Canadian companies to increase their productivity and competitiveness in the short and longer term. We will invest $3.2M in artificial intelligence via:
• Helping industry partners progress through phases of AI maturity
• Accelerating ongoing applied AI research programs
• Engaging industry in AI research via collaborative events and sharing success stories
• Delivering a suite of targeted applied research programs, described below.
