Musical Showcases - National Tour

The main objective of this program is to stimulate the programming of Francophone artists from official language minority communities through major events and tours in order to promote the development of their professional careers. It also wants to promote access by Canadian Francophone communities to musical performances in their language.

Exceptionally for the year 21-22, the maximum assistance offered to the show producer is $ 24,000 per tour. As for the distribution network and presenters, this assistance can be a maximum of $ 16,200 per tour, to which a maximum assistance of $ 9,000 per tour to carry out digital promotion aimed at increasing the artist's visibility. can be added. The program has also been adapted in order to allow artists who cannot make their tour physically, due to the health rules linked to the pandemic, to be able to reallocate the funds provided for carrying out a good quality performance recording that would be the subject of 'a virtual tour.

Funding is subject to availability of funds.

This second component aims at the professional development of artists and a better visibility of them through tours in Canada aimed at French and English speaking audiences. Each tour is the subject of two requests, one from the network of eligible broadcasters, the other from the artist or his representative.
