The Municipal Real Estate Support Program aims to support regional county municipalities (RMCs) and municipalities to contribute more to the knowledge, protection, development and transmission of heritage cultural real estate. The latter has many benefits for society. Its conservation promotes sustainable development, maintains or improves the living environment and the quality of landscapes, provides citizens with a sense of pride and helps to define their identity, in addition to stimulating tourism and the local economy. Fragile and non-renewable resource, the real estate heritage is however threatened by the lack of maintenance and the negligence of which it can be victim.
- Increase the number of interventions by the municipal sector for the preservation of municipally owned real estate.
