The purpose of RÉCIM is to enable municipalities to carry out projects involving the construction, upgrading, rehabilitation or conversion, expansion or renovation of municipal infrastructure.
More specifically, RÉCIM offers financial support to municipalities whose financial capacity is more limited in carrying out work aimed at responding to major issues associated with the state of their basic infrastructure, whether municipal or community-based. The program also provides financial support for the realization of projects promoting the pooling of services and the sharing of infrastructure between municipalities.
