The Multiculturalism, Indigenous and Inclusion Grant Program supports initiatives and projects that build intercultural awareness, and understanding. The program fosters cultural awareness in communities across the province, and appreciation and celebration of Alberta’s Indigenous and multicultural society. The program strives to create a province where people feel included, and that their culture and heritage is valued.
- The program outcomes are: Albertans have cross-cultural and/or intercultural understanding; Albertans are aware of the impacts of discrimination and work collectively to reduce barriers; diverse backgrounds are celebrated by Albertans, creating welcoming and inclusive communities; Albertans feel their culture and heritage is valued.
