The Operating Assistance Program for Media Arts Organizations contributes to the support of professional, not-for-profit media arts organizations that sustain an annual artistic program encompassing production, distribution, collections and dissemination activities. Media arts are defined as works in film, video, audio / sound art and new media. New media includes new information and communications technologies used for artistic expression.
- To provide consistent and responsive funding to assist the general operations of established professional non-profit arts and cultural organizations across disciplines; in so doing, the program supports the sustainable delivery of high quality and impactful arts programs and services to communities across the province
