- To promote and provide funds for research into the cause, control and cure of health anxiety, social factors in health risk and access to health services, especially by women; to promote and participate in all phases of education of professionals and others pertaining to health anxiety, social factors and health risk and access to health services, especially by women, including specifically the education of physicians and medical personnel, nursing staff and health care professionals, as well as patients and families; to liaise with other charitable organizations, governmental agencies and organizations in developing educational programs relating to health anxiety, social factors and health risk and access to health services, especially by women; to undertake public education, patient support services, dissemination and publication of information about the delivery of health care and to advance medical care and social services for women and others suffering adverse effects as a consequence of health anxiety, social factors and health risk and reduced access to health services.
