This program offers supplementary financial assistance to low-income households who are owners of a single-family home, duplex or triplex and who are participating in an energy efficiency program. The additional assistance doubles the amount offered by the program in which they are participating, excluding programs for the installation of a smart or programmable thermostat, for which the supplementary financial assistance is $220. This program also offers supplementary financial assistance to owners of multi-tenant buildings of three or fewer units, with one or more units occupied by low-income households. The supplement takes into account the percentage of low-income households renting a unit in the building where the energy efficiency work is being carried out, and is shared between the building owner and the low-income households.
