Literature - Francophone projects

The program supports literary activities through grants to artists, ad hoc / collective groups and Francophone organizations in Ontario.

• The program provides a grant for one of the following types of activities creation - the work of the length of a book : to enable writers to undertake or finish writing a work the length of a book; creation / recording - work of oral literature : to enable artists of oral literature (eg literary performance, storytelling) to create a work for a public performance or to record their own repertoire; presentation / Outreach : to enable ad hoc / collective groups and organizations to implement projects whose objective is to vitalize the French-language literary sector (for example, collective writing projects, presentations of works to a public, meetings).
• The program aims to reflect the range of artistic practices in the field of French literature in Ontario by highlighting the following genres: poetry, novel, short story, dramatic writing (plays), youth literature and young adults, literary criticism or artistic, essays and literary works, works of reflection and analysis that are not academic, on different subjects (literature, history, politics, social issues, sciences, travel), memoirs, biography, comic strip, graphic novel, dub poetry, vocal poetry, performance poetry, storytelling or other genres of oral literature.
