Employment Manitoba provides funding for activities under the following three categories: Workforce Development Services (Employee/Employer Focussed); Labour Market Development Services (Community Focussed); Labour Force Development Services (Sector Focussed).
Support workforce development and adjustment activities to assist employers, employee associations and job threatened workers to deal with workforce changes; assist employers to improve their capacity to implement workforce expansion; support labour market development activities in communities that identify and create employment opportunities and address labour market supply and demand needs; support labour force development activities that help identify and address human resource and training needs in specific sectors.
