Junior Exploration Assistance Program | JEA
The Junior Exploration Assistance Program supports mineral exploration activities in Newfoundland and Labrador. Additional rebates may be available for projects targeting minerals included on Canada's Critical Minerals List and Newfoundland and Labrador's Provincial Critical Minerals List.
- Maximum funding is up to $150,000 for eligible projects located on the Island of Newfoundland and up to $225,000 for eligible projects located in Labrador. Additional incentives may be available for projects targeting critical minerals.

The Junior Exploration Assistance Program supports mineral exploration activities in Newfoundland and Labrador. Additional rebates may be available for projects targeting minerals included on Canada's Critical Minerals List and Newfoundland and Labrador's Provincial Critical Minerals List.
- Maximum funding is up to $150,000 for eligible projects located on the Island of Newfoundland and up to $225,000 for eligible projects located in Labrador. Additional incentives may be available for projects targeting critical minerals.
- Grow Newfoundland and Labrador's mineral inventory through the discovery of new mineral districts, occurrences, prospects, and deposits, while advancing mineral discoveries toward NI 43-101 compliant mineral resources and enhancing the province's competitiveness as a world-class mineral exploration destination.
