- 50% of annual income is paid to The Hospital for Sick Children for research; 35% supports registered charities in Ontario, in education, the arts, health, the environment, and social services; 10% supports medical research in Ontario; 5% supports scholarships at Ontario universities and colleges offering courses in Mining
