The Green stream outcomes set by the federal government support the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, enable greater adaptation and resilience to the impacts of climate change and climate-related disaster mitigation and ensure communities can provide clean air and safe drinking water.
This intake will: provide up to $ 240 million in combined federal and provincial funding; $ 24M of the funding is designated for First Nation applicants; the remaining funding is for municipalities and Local Services Boards; prioritize drinking water projects in smaller communities that support rehabilitation of assets with critical health and safety issues.
