Canada and Saskatchewan signed the bilateral agreement for the Investing in Canada Infrastructure Program (ICIP) in October 2018. The program will provide more than $ 896 million in federal funding for all types of Saskatchewan infrastructure projects over the next 10 years until 2028.
- This fund will help to support greenhouse gas emission (GHG) reductions; enable greater adaptation and resilience to the impacts of climate change and climate-related disaster mitigation; ensure that more communities can provide clean air and safe drinking water for their citizens; and decrease the release of pollutants into the environment.
