To encourage the development of ecodistricts, Hydro-Québec offers financial assistance to developers and contractors or municipalities that carry out electricity-saving sustainable urban development projects.
- The purpose of the Innovative Projects program is to stimulate the realization of innovative projects aimed at very high energy performance. From the architectural design, the energy consumption of the Buildings targeted by the Project is optimized thanks to high-performance technologies and innovative electromechanical systems as well as through the implementation of the Energy Network and very high energy efficiency measures. In addition, the Energy Network promotes internal exchanges and energy recovery between users.
