INDIGENOUS ARTS - REVITALIZATION, CREATION AND TRANSMISSION

In a spirit of recognition and appreciation, the Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec (Conseil) wishes to support Quebec's Aboriginal arts community in its efforts to reappropriate, rebuild and develop. That's why the council set up Re-Savoir, a program for aboriginal arts.

• Contribute to the knowledge, recognition and enhancement of Aboriginal artists and arts; promote the re-appropriation and transmission of Aboriginal traditional knowledge, languages ​​and arts and their development; facilitate the beginning of the career and professionalization of Aboriginal artists by supporting the first professional experiences, sponsorship and accompaniment; support the artistic projects of Aboriginal arts organizations; support the dissemination, circulation and outreach of Aboriginal works and arts organizations throughout Quebec and outside Quebec.
