The pandemic and resulting business and industry curtailments have accelerated the pace of change creating new consumer behaviors and affecting traditional business models and community planning approaches. Many communities must rethink their downtowns, main streets or business districts, in order to adapt to the new work, live and play realities.
The THRIVE Small Capital Program will provide an opportunity for local governments, business, tourism and arts and culture organizations to proactively and collaboratively address declining downtown/main street/business area activity by creating and testing innovative approaches to drive new and increased vitality into commercial areas.
