Description

The Government of the Northwest Territories' (GNWT) GHG Grant Program for Buildings and Industry is an application based non-repayable grant program designed to support greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions reduction projects and initiatives for NWT businesses, industry and non-profit organizations.



  • Projects may include such things as commercial facility energy retrofits, retrofits to fleet vehicles or mobile equipment, industry fuel switching, commercial biomass boilers & district heating, renewable energy for space or water heating, off-grid renewable electricity, non-infrastructure based transportation initiatives , waste-to-energy, and methane capture and use.
