Francofonds is an incorporated company registered as a charitable organization. Francofonds was launched on November 16, 1978 by Francophones in Manitoba who dreamed of being able to support Francophone community projects without the support of governments. With this vision and community engagement, the foundation now has more than 6,000 donors since its inception and exceeds $ 8,200,000 in capital.
