First Nation and Inuit Cultural Education Centres Program

Indigenous Services Canada (ISC) 's First Nation and Inuit Cultural Education Centers Program (CECP) provides funding to help preserve and strengthen unique First Nations and Inuit cultures, traditions and languages.

• This program supports First Nations and Inuit communities in expressing, preserving, developing, revitalizing and promoting their culture, language and heritage, through the creation and operation of First Nations and Inuit cultural education centers. The program helps make relevant cultural programming and services available to First Nations and Inuit students through cultural education centers.
• The goal of the program is to: revive traditional cultural skills among First Nations and Inuit people; develop current cultural skills among First Nations and Inuit people; develop knowledge and use of traditional languages ​​among First Nations and Inuit people; promote cross-cultural awareness between Indigenous and non-Indigenous educational programs and institutions
