In 2008, Music PEI began to offer multiple funding opportunities to members of PEI's music industry. These programs were created with funding from the Provincial Government’s Department of Culture in an effort to assist the growing industry in key areas that would help to develop both the artists and the infrastructure in the province.
- The Emerging Music Program is designed to help new and less established artists gain a foothold in the Music Industry. This is achieved by investing in projects that will enhance the applicant’s sales and marketability, as well as foster the development of the applicant’s business skills.
