GNWT Introducing Emerging Entrepreneurs Business Mentorship Program News Releases Yellowknife — April 3, 2023 The Government of the Northwest Territories (GNWT) has introduced the Emerging Entrepreneurs Business Mentorship Program to provide entrepreneurs in the Northwest Territories (NWT) with the opportunity and financial support to gain valuable skills in business, leadership, and networking from an experienced business mentor.
The program will enable mentees to learn how to:
- Develop business plans;
- Understand financial management, accounting and audit processes;
- Identify potential sources of capital or funding;
- Gain first-hand knowledge of industry best practices and how they apply to their business;
- Expand business networks; and
- Increase their overall business capacity and confidence.
