Emergency assistance to small and medium-sized businesses (COVID-19) | Aid to businesses in regions on maximum alert (AERAM)
In order to support establishments targeted by a closure order, the Assistance to Businesses in Regions on Maximum Alert (AERAM) component allows loan forgiveness (non-refundable financial assistance) under the following conditions:
- it applies to loans granted under the PAUPME after December 20, 2021;
- it covers the portion of eligible fixed costs not claimed under another government program and disbursed for the closure period in question, namely:
- municipal and school taxes,
- the rent,
- interest paid on mortgages,
- costs related to public services (e.g. electricity and gas),
- the insurance,
- telecommunications costs,
- permits and association fees.
