The GNWT’s Early Childhood Infrastructure Fund (ECIF) provides funding for projects that improve existing infrastructure of licenced centre-based child care spaces or create new licensed centre-based child care spaces in NWT communities. Interested organizations are eligible for funding for the 2022-2023 fiscal year. Funding priority will be given to communities with limited or non-existent early learning and child care programming
This funding helps organizations to pursue needed renovations that allows them to expand on or start new early learning and child care programs and provide families with a safe and caring environment for children to learn and grow in.
