The Disaster Financial Assistance Program helps small businesses with costs to repair or replace uninsurable, essential basic property loss (like appliances and furniture) due to Hurricane Fiona. Note: A 2nd stream of funding for small businesses can apply for a one-time $2,500 grant to help cover the cost of unanticipated business closures from Hurricane Fiona (additional information to come). Timeline: Average of 6 to 8 weeks for the Emergency Management Office to review applications and communicate their funding decision.
