The program supports the development, production and presentation of dance by Ontario’s professional dance artists.
- To help cover only the initial artistic costs of creating new dance work including the development of choreography for dance film/video and work for young audiences; help cover the artistic, production and presentation costs including co-productions, dance commissions, preparation of a tour including rehearsal costs, remounting or acquiring dance work(s) and work for young audiences; help cover the presentation and promotion costs of professional choreographers and dance companies; help cover the costs of activities and initiatives that benefit Ontario’s professional dance sector at large. This includes professional development workshop series, dance training initiatives, conferences and other activities with a community impact.
