D F Plett Historical Research Foundation Fund

The Foundation provided research grants to individuals for approved projects in connection with furthering the knowledge, understanding and awareness of the historical roots, traditions, people and cultures of the Mennonites who migrated to Manitoba in the 1870s, their descendants and forbears. In meeting its mandate the Foundation was also involved in printing and distribution of educational materials to the public.
